The Owner Recommends

Normandy Landings. Cathedral, Bayeux Tapestry, Local Markets. Mulberry Harbour. Outdoor sport

Asnelles is on Gold Beach with safe bathing under the watchful eye of the Life Guards. There are 4 local markets within 8 kms - no shortage of fresh sea food.

The town of Bayeux has a Cathedral and the famous Tapestry and excellent high street shops.

The American cementry and museums in the area are full of interest and history.

Asnelles has a beach yachting school which is open to visitors. Not just for children but adults seem to love it!

Lovely clean comfortable property in quiet well placed village. The house is well equipped and secluded with an enclosed private garden. Only 5 minutes from a great beach. Very handy for visiting the D-day beaches. We walked along the beach to Arromanches. Also near to Bayeux which is a very pretty town. Village has two good restaurants, a bakery, butcher and grocery. Lovely area to explore.
