The Carriage House is set in the grounds of a wonderful, informal Chateau, built in 1751 with a safe, secluded garden in 3 acres of grounds. It is ideally situated in lovely countryside, 10km from Cherbourg and only 30 minutes from superb gulf stream beaches opposite Jersey. Just 3km from a great boulangerie and 8km from a huge hypermarket.

The Carriage House overlooks the main courtyard and is south west facing looking out on part of the large front garden courtyard of the chateau. The building dates from 1751 and has many unusual features and plenty of space - giant oak beams, Douglas redwood floors, stone fireplace, an unusual dome shaped kitchen and 3 french windows.
The kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge-freezer pots, pans, cutlery and glasses.
A very large lounge/dining room with a grand fireplace.
Five bedrooms consisting of 3 doubles, one twin and one quadruple.
Bed linen and towels can be hired, but only out of school holidays.

In the huge barn there is shared table tennis, table football and darts.
