We have stayed at this property two years running. We have found it to be very
comfortable with a large kitchen all well equipped with good views on three sides
and good heating if needed. the lounge is very large, with comfortable chairs.,TV with many DVDs and Videos. also downstairs is a small toilet with wash basin & a single bedroom. Upstairs are two large bedrooms and two bath, shower rooms.
A trip outside to walk into the house size cellar. with enough equipment to keep adults and kids happy on a wet day.
We hope to go back again next year.

Thanks for a great Holiday.

Lovely property in a pleasant location, nearby wildlife (coypu) adding to the experience. A good base for the Normandy region, many of the big attractions a 1-2 hour drive away. I expect the property is super in summer (we stayed in spring) and has plenty of space both in and out, you could easily just stay at the property all day.
Very rural France, markets in nearby towns, local town has two supermarkets (one now open 7 days a week). Some good local history in towns just 30 minutes or less away which are picturesque. Make sure you have a good data roaming mobile package.
There is a road nearby, long and straight which some might find intrusive but we didn't really think so.
As it is rural France, most places are closed on Sunday's, many are also closed on Mondays as well, certainly restaurants within the vicinity.

Clean, spacious, great facilities, log fire if you're there in cooler climes. Huge kitchen. The photos don't really do the property justice.
Highly recommended

Owner response

Thanks for such positive comments and the useful information for future guests. Note taken about data roaming - unfortunately being such a rural property we're not having much luck finding a totally reliable internet package.

This is a truly unique house.
Complete privacy with stunning views across the Normandy countryside, and just 5 minutes drive along a scenic straight road to the historic town of Mortain.
Plenty of outdoor space, a great games room, and Mortain has a brilliant open air swimming pool and a fantastic Karting circuit, both with stunning views.
Really enjoyable family holiday home within close proximity to fantastic historical locations; love it!! Recommend it!!
