This gite is beautiful and the owners, Alban and Valerie, are perfect hosts.
I would have no hesitation in recommending the property to friends and family - the accommodation is perfect for a family stay and the personal touches and attention to detail are appreciated.
There are excellent shops in a nearby town with the D-Day beaches and other attractions easily accessible by car.
Thank you for a wonderful week!

very well equipped for young children! Wifi good. Decor nice, old style. Hosts nice. Only complaint squeaky stairs and upstairs floors and we prefer dark curtains. Every thing else was lovely. Very quiet and peaceful location with lots of wildlife.

Good points
Absolutely everything was catered for which is very important when you have a toddler. Stair gates, a changing table, toys, baby spoons, beakers, plastic bowls and plates etc, all perfect for kids. A UK freesat box helped keep my 10 year old from getting too bored! The owner spoke perfect English which is very useful if you're nowhere fluent in French like us! Lots of leaflets of where to visit were available, a little welcome pack included camembert, home made bread and some locally produced apple juice. We got a little lost getting to the gite and finally arrived at 00.30. The owner was still there to welcome us! She's a marvel and we considered the gite our home for the week, not just somewhere to stay as a base. We'll be back, as they say!!

Bad points
Can't think of any!
