About this property

Traditional Cottage On Quiet 15 Acre Farm. This cottage/gite is in a rural setting.

We have a small working farm in a protected national park, within 5 minutes of two small, charming French villages and 5 minutes from a Norman castle which now houses over 30 pairs of nesting storks. We offer 3 different types of accommodation so guests can opt for complete privacy or enjoy the company of your hosts and other guests.

There is a charming French Cottage (self-catering cottage) with 1 bedroom set on the farm with plenty of room to set up tents in the grounds if you wish. Minimum stay of 1 week for 450 Euros.

We are 20 minutes from the D-Day landing beaches, Bayeux and Le Molay-Littry with lots of local antique fairs in the area.  

Unlimited parking is available.

Why this location? Based in the heart of a protected national park with stunning views and amazing wildlife and we fell in love with the amazing Oak Trees on the farm. Close enough to the D Day beaches, towns and nightlife to enable guests to benefit from the tourist attractions but still enjoy a peaceful stay.
Lots of activities for children, families, couples, walkers, cyclists and bikers.

Metal detectorists always welcome but you may find that the WW2 artiiacts have already been found (so far mortar round bits, bullets (fired and whole), machete, MG42 barrel as well as buckles and other equipment).

Everyone is welcome and we have experienced guides, cyclists and walkers living on the farm.

One particular Christmas Market in Saint-Lo has Santa Claus visiting to distribute sweets to all the children who visit. Fabulous market - definitely worth a visit!
