Just home from a weeks stay here, and would highly recommend La Herpiniere. The property is well maintained and fully equipped with everything you would need for your stay. The Gite is secluded, set in gorgeous grounds with lots of space to relax. The nearest town is a 10 min drive away and has a couple of supermarkets, shops and an outdoor swimming pool. There are many places to visit and explore within an hours drive. The owners Debbie and Robin are very welcoming and helpful. We are glad to have picked this Gite and will have no hesitations in recommending it to others.
Thank you for your kind comments. It was a pleasure to meet you and your family and we are pleased you enjoyed your stay with us.
This was an excellent relaxing holiday. The property and its very large enclosed garden provided the best holiday accommodation that we have experienced to date. This is a quiet area of Normandy so ideal for a relaxing time away from the crowds, although the Normandy coast, Glanville and Mont St Michel are easily accessible. Lots of good walking in the area around the property. We travelled with a very active working cocker spaniel who had an equally good time, especially with the hosts' two resident dogs. Debbie and Robin were perfect hosts; helpful, available but not intrusive. We can thoroughly recommend this property and its owners.
Thank you for your kind comments. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay with us.
We have just returned from a lovely stay at La Herpiniere. Great Gite, Hosts and a beautiful setting. We took our dog who had a fantastic time in the 5 acres with the resident dogs Luna & Zippy.
We had fantastic weather for our stay but the Gite is well equipped so it you were unlucky there are games, Sky and a plethora of DVD/films to watch.
We recommend and may well be revisiting ourselves.
Thank you for your kind comments. We look forward to seeing you again!
We enjoyed a wonderful week's stay at La Herpiniere in June 2017. The gite and the grounds are excellent for a quiet relaxing holiday. We enjoyed trips to Mortain (Cascades and Petit Chapel), Vire, Domfront, D-Day beaches and Mont St Michel, despite the wet weather.
Debbie and Robin (and Lunar and Zippy) made us very welcome, and nothing was too much trouble. We would recommend staying there to family and friends, and hope to return one day.
Thank you for your comments. It was lovely to meet you both and we hope to see you again.
