The newest of our three gites, Stable Cottage will comfortably accommodate 6/7 people. On the ground floor are the entrance hall, large living/dining room, separate kitchen, a bedroom with double bed and its own bathroom (bath, separate shower, bidet, toilet). Upstairs there are two further bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with three single beds, and a shower room with toilet. All rooms are equipped with modern electric heaters, and in addition the lounge has a log-burning stove. The cottage has an automatic washing machine and tv (digital English & French channels). The private garden has a paved patio with garden furniture, and is enclosed for your children and dogs. The gite has a dishwasher and wi-fi.
The well-equipped kitchen has a gas hob, electric fan oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher toaster, espresso machine and kettle. There is a serving hatch through to the dining room next door.
There is a large living room with a wood-burner, tv with digital UK channels and a dvd player. French doors lead to a patio and bbq area.
There is a downstairs double bedroom, with bath/shower room opposite, upstairs there is another double bedroom and a room with 3 single beds. All bed linen is included in the price of the rental.
There is a bathroom on each floor, plus a separate wc off the lobby area. We can also provide towels at 3€ per pair.
The house is heated with electric thermostatically controlled radiators, and a wood burning stove. From October to April we offer the first load of logs.
We keep ponies, sheep, goats and chickens, and we have a selection of bicycles our guests can use. We have table tennis, table football and a trampoline. The farm is next to the network of cycle paths which are the old railway lines that criss-cross the local area.
There are sun loungers, an outside picnic table and a bbq in the enclosed private garden.
There is parking just outside the garden gates. We have covered storage if you want to bring your own bikes etc.
The cottage has free wi-fi.
We moved to Normandy in 2006 with our two daughters looking for a change of lifestyle, and we found it! We had a holiday home in the area since 2002 and had fallen in love with the area, so when the opportunity to move here permanently came up we took the plunge, and never looked back!
