About the Owner/Advertiser, Mr William Darwen

We moved to Normandy in 2006 with our two daughters looking for a change of lifestyle, and we found it! We had a holiday home in the area since 2002 and had fallen in love with the area, so when the opportunity to move here permanently came up we took the plunge, and never looked back!

Year property purchased 2006
Why this location? Hundreds of kilometres of unspoilt coastline, beautiful country walks and scenery, wonderful local food and a different approach to life.
Unique benefits of property We are next to the network of cycle path which we can also ride our ponies on, and well situated for visiting Mont. St. Michel, the D-Day landing beaches, the channel islands and even Paris is just a 2 hour train ride away! Our farm is set back from the roads in a very quiet location, just the church bells next door!

lovely house - not the most modern features (so accurately as described) but really comfy and everything worked, including wifi. pool exceptional as modern amd hyperclean - still good at the end of october. Great help from Will/Amanda tracking down and booking restaurants. we borrowed the bikes and clocked up >50km over 3 days as they are right in the middle of the local cycle route from cherbourg to the south. Overall stunning value for money.
