A recently renovated 6 bedroom farmhouse in a rural location in Normandy.
Only 2km away from Percy the nearest town (where there is an Intermarché shop), and 10kms away from Villedeaux (where there is a hypermarket).

Kitchen and dining

A full equipped kitchen with everything from microwave, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer to coffee machine.

There is a dining room which seats 6 and also a large table and chairs in the spacious kitchen which also seats 6. Plus a high chair.

Living rooms

A spacious living room with three sofas, a log burner, a bookcase stocked with crime thrillers and other genres and a coffee table/chest stocked with board games.

There is a flat screen 32" TV and sound system, wifi and smart TV with Netflix available.

Bedrooms

6 bedrooms in total one with en suite, two sharing a family bathroom and three that can use the main family bathroom.

3 bedrooms have a double bed and wardrobe, chest of draws etc and 3 rooms have 2 single beds (Zip and Lock beds) which can be made into double beds. Again each of these rooms have wardrobes and chest of draws.
Most rooms have further seating (a sofa or chair(s) and the two larger rooms also have a dressing table).

Bathrooms

The largest bathroom has a large walk in shower, lovely free standing bath over looking the views above the garden, a sink and toilet.

There is a second family bathroom with a bath shower, toilet and sink.

The main bedroom has an en suite with bath, sink and toilet.

There is a downstairs toilet.

Heating

The house has gas central heating apart from the top floor which has electric heating.
There is also a log burner in the living room.
There is a radiator or heater in every room.

Entertainment

There is wi-fi throughout the house, a tv with dvd player, sound system and smart tv (so netflix can be accessed).

Garden and outside

The garden has a large climbing frame, trampoline, table tennis table as well as a gas bbq and a table and chairs (to seat 12).

There is a small paddock which has been converted into a small football pitch at the front of the house and an Orchard.

There are also a large collection of bicycles at the house that can be used by guests free of charge ranging from mountain bikes, to BMX bikes to bikes for smaller children.

Parking and garages

Two large parking areas - enough space for 6+ cars excluding the area in front of the house.

Visitor suitability

Suitable for large families or groups of families with young children. Unfortunately there is no provision for wheel chair access and as the property is over three floors it is not suitable to those with mobility disabilities.

My wife and I purchased this property in September 2016 and have spent the past 6 months renovating and updating the property ready for the 2017 season. The house is aimed at families with children as we were always frustrated when we rented and they seemed to forgot the children need entertaining too, so the parents can then have fun and some relax time too.

Unique benefits of property Everything that is there for children to do: large climbing frame, trampoline, table tennis table, small football pitch, games, toys, several bicycles (mountain bikes, BMX bikes, kids bikes) all free to use. Plus the usual 'requirements' wi-fi, fully equipped kitchen, spacious rooms, an lovely English couple to meet you on your first day to show you around and answer any queries who also live local if you need help during your stay.
