3 Bedroom Gite - Heated Pool. This cottage/gite is in a coastal setting.

Created from three former pig-stys, Chèvrefeuille is a large, spacious cottage designed to accommodate up to 7 people in comfort. It has three bedrooms, two shower rooms and a large open plan living/dining room with an open fire and kitchen.

The kitchen is equipped with a fan-assisted electric oven, seperate grill and ceramic hob. A microwave is provided, along with a kettle, toaster, and coffee-maker.
One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor and has an en suite showeroom suitable for wheelchair users.
Upstairs are two further bedrooms, a large shower room and a separate toilet.

Kitchen and dining

The kitchen, completely refurbished last year, is equipped with a fan-assisted electric oven, seperate grill and ceramic hob, as well as a dishwasher. A microwave is provided, along with a kettle, toaster, and coffee-maker. The space is open plan with a gaining table.

Living rooms

The living room has an open fire and English and French tv channels. There is also a dvd player.
There are two large comfortable sofas and a separate armchair.

Bedrooms

There are two double bedrooms, one on each floor. The downstairs bedroom has an en suite shower room. There is also a room with three single beds, a travel cot can be supplied if requested.

Bathrooms

The cottage has a shower room on each floor, the downstairs bathroom has a fold down chair for people with restricted mobility. There are also grab rails.
Bath towels are supplied, we can supply hand and bath towels at 3 euros per pair.

Heating

The cottage is fully central heated by a wood pellet boiler, and also boasts an open fireplace.
The first load of logs is free (September to April). Further loads can be purchased for €10 per barrow.

Entertainment

We have table tennis, table football and a trampoline as well as a newly installed heated swimming pool for the shared use between our guests.
We have a selection of adult and children's bikes that can be used and we are close to the local network of the cycle paths. We keep a selection of farm animals which you are more than welcome to help feed and get involved with.

Garden and outside

Our farm is set in 3 acres of grounds which you are welcome to explore.
The farm is set back from the road and is child friendly.
We accept well-behaved dogs.

Parking and garages

Each cottage has its own parking area, we do have a have a garage for motorbikes or classic cars, please let us know in advance.

Visitor suitability

We have four cottages, and are suitable for families, couples, and one of our cottages is wheelchair friendly.

We moved to Normandy in 2006 with our two daughters looking for a change of lifestyle, and we found it! We had a holiday home in the area since 2002 and had fallen in love with the area, so when the opportunity to move here permanently came up we took the plunge, and never looked back!

Good access to ferry links to the UK and Ireland,Cherbourg is a 40 minute drive and Ouistrehaam is 1 hour 15 minutes. Great local street markets every day within easy driving distance.
