About this property

Natural Pine Log Cabin, Private Gardens & Pool. This cottage/gite is in a rural setting.

Step inside and breathe in the wonderful smell of natural wood and absorb the colourful and surprisingly spacious open natural pine open plan cabin.

The heated swimming pool and terrace are available from June to September. These facilities are shared with our other holiday home, The Barn at Les Basses Beaulinges, listed separately. Group bookings using both properties are welcome.

Kitchen and dining

The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery, cooking utensils and glassware, a gas hob, cooker and fridge.
Tea towels included.

The dining area has a modern dinning table and 4 chairs.

You can view French tv with access to satellite channels for English speaking terrestrial programmes on the flat screen LED 48" tv. Free wi-fi.

A rather cool sideboard with multi lighting provides cupboard space for all your food and essentials.

Living rooms

The lounge is open planand has 2 sofas plus a large coffee table with 4 stools.

Bedrooms

The Open lounge/kitchen area leads to 2 bedrooms:
To the left is the double with double bed, long mirror and wardrobes, straight ahead is a smaller bedroom with wide comfortable bunk beds, long mirror and wardrobe space.

All bed linnen is included.

Bathrooms

The family bathroom has a shower, with large shower head and separate second mobile shower head and body jets.
The vanity unit has large mirror and enclosed shelved unit. wc and heated towel radiator.

All bathroom towels are included.

Heating

Heating, if required includes modern slim line convector heaters and an additional free standing oil heater.

Entertainment

You can view French tv with access to satellite channels for English speaking terrestrial programmes on the flat screen LED 48" tv. Free wi-fi.

Garden and outside

Once you've settled in you can then relax and just chill out on the terrace and listen to the birds singing all around you, before enjoying al fresco in your own private garden.

You have 2 private gardens:
In front of The Cabin the garden is hedged and has a bench table (seats 4), sun umbrella and 2 sun beds.
You can then go through the lovely archway to the pool and terrace which inludes a lounge seated area and additional sunbeds.
The heated swimming pool and terrace are available from June to September. These facilities are shared with our other holiday home, The Barn at Les Basses Beaulinges, listed separately. Group bookings using both properties are welcome.

There is also a private garden at the rear of the cabin with on park bench and patio area with gravel.

BBQ and tools are provided.

We have been in France for 10 years. The Cabin is one of two properties at Les Basses Beaulinges, the other, The Barn is a 4 bedroom converted stone barn.<br/>We love the area and take a lot of pleasure in sharing our holiday homes with you.<br/>Between the two properties we can accommodate a larger groups of up to 10 people.<br/>

Why this location? The Cabin is the perfect base to explore the many sights and attractions for all ages. From a water park perfect for the children just 15 minutes away (open hours subject to season), to the amazing Le Mont Saint Michel just 25 minutes away; You really are spoilt for choice!
Unique benefits of property This super 2 bedroom log cabin has been constructed from natural pine and offers a chic ultra-modern interior. The rich tones and unmistakable aroma of the pine wood add a sense of relaxation throughout the house.
Cosy and comfortable with all the comforts of home, The Cabin creates a perfect location to get back to nature. Simply sit on the south facing terrace and enjoy the sights and sounds of the local wildlife, especially with a variety of birds. It's great to watch them go in and out of thier nests feeding thier young.
Surrounded by pure countryside you also have private gardens to the front and rear of The Cabin with beautiful flowering arch to the swimming pool and terrace.

There is so much close by

Ducey is less than 10 minutes and the nearest town with beautiful château & gardens. A selection of shops include Boucherie, Patisserie, Hairdressers, Pharmacie and large Carrefour supermarket (open 9am to 7.15pm Mondays to Saturdays and Sundays 9am to noon).

On your doorstep, just 15 minutes there is a hidden water park. The kids will love it.

Avranches has good shopping in the centre or a Commercial centres and is just 15 minutes away. Many treasures are hidden in Avranches. The city preserves the manuscripts of Le Mont-Saint-Michel; a prestigious collection where the you can discover the secrets of in 'The Scriptorial' museum.

Saint-Hilaire-du-Harcouët is just 15 minutes away and offers a variety of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars (children allowed). Every Wednesday morning there is a fantastic large market where you can buy clothes, local produce, livestock etc,it really is worth a morning out and finish it off with a rather tasty hotdog or burger for lunch!

Le Mont-Saint-Michel is simply stunning. One of Frances’s top tourist attractions is just 25 minutes from Les Basses Beaulinges. Allow yourself at least 4 to 5 hours here, as you will want to take your time to explore this wonderful historic monument. The selection of bars and restaurants along with the views will stay with you forever. The tour of the upper areas, (the Abbey) is simply a must. Do get the audiotape to take with you as you do the tour as the history is fascinating. If you want you can take a walking tour across the estuary, a guide is a must who will ensure your safety as there is lot of quick sand. The locals say that "when the tide comes in a horse cannot outrun it!"

St Malo walled city is just 1 hour away, is a maze of medieval streets bursting with history and culture. The legacy of the dastardly pirates of the 19th century & the siege during the Second World war.
