About the Owner/Advertiser, Mrs Sheree Lesley Smith

We are Brent and Sheree Smith, we have been married for 40 years and lived in France for 6 years. We have lovingly restored our French farmhouse. We previously worked in the property business for many years before deciding to come and enjoy the glorious french lifestyle. We have carried out the renovations ourselves with a little help from friends on the heavier work. We take immense pride in completing our work with great care to the finer detail and have worked tirelessly to restore Marigny.

Year property purchased 1997
Why this location? We chose this location as it is easy access from the UK or anywhere in Europe, there is plenty to do and see within 45 minutes in all direction, great road, ferry and air links.
Unique benefits of property Ideally situated for the that relaxing break you have worked so hard for, everything here at Marigny to keep all the family busy, swimming in the heated pool, playing in the children's area or simply relaxing on the sun terrace with a cool glass of wine or two and light the barbeque. Perfect!

The Owner Recommends

Must visits whilst at Marigny

First on the list has to be Le Mont St. Michel the magical place just a short drive from here. Best to visit early morning or early evening to enjoy the best it has to offer. Drive to the car park and take the free shuttle bus to the foot of the Mont.
There is a vast list of places to visit, absolutely something for everyone in the family to enjoy here on the Normandy/Brittany boarders.
Fougeres has the largest chateau in Europe, Villecartier Forest has Zip wires. Alligator Bay has thousands of reptiles to see. There are zoos, horse riding stables, cycling and walking routes. Beaches galore. The American Cemetery is 8kms drive. Bayeux Tapestry and D. Day landing beaches just over an hours drive. Medieval towns all around: St. Malo, Dinan, Dinard, Dol De Bretagne, all along the route of the crusades of William the Conqueror. .
