We enjoyed our trip immensely, not least because Jack and Louise made us feel so welcome in their home! The gite is spacious and clean with everything we needed, and a little more too! It’s location is perfect to explore Normandy and Brittany, with excellent beaches just 10km away.

Our children enjoyed the property, with a bedroom each, and loads of room to roam in the large gardens.

Nothing was a problem for our hosts, a minor issue solved with no drama. Jack & Louise gave us plenty of ideas as to where to go exploring, with loads more printed info inside the gite for us.

All in all a great visit, we are already planning our return!

Owner response

Thank you. Delighted you enjoyed yourselves, we enjoyed having you too.

We were a party of five adults, and our main problem was the coldness of the property.
We had to specifically ask for the heating as there was none in the cottage, we were all so cold the first night we had to wear our ordinary clothes on to sleep with extra duvets from out of the wardrobes.
The property had no curtains or blinds to help keep the warmth in. The cleanliness the bathrooms and kitchen were ok but the rest of the house was a bit grubby with mouse dirts.
Customer service was sketchy. The tv did not work. and we did get given some dvd s to watch
We would not recommend it to anyone else and will not be returning ourselves.
We ve been going to France for over 30 yrs and have never had to complain before. It has taken a week to get all our thoughts together and discuss it and still feel dissatisfied with our holiday

Owner response

First time that I have been held to account for the weather !
Heating was at cost as advertised.
Heating offered on arrival - heating declined !
Regrettably the digital receiver packed up half way through
and they declined the use of our own !
Thank you for leaving the property as you found it...…..clean!
