Set in the Normandie-Maine Regional National Parc, our charming, stone built gite is a magnificent place from which to explore the treasures of Normandy while enjoying fine food and experiencing a new culture. A centre for apples and pear orchards, as well as the production of calvados, this area offers gorgeous views and interesting opportunities in all seasons.
Our gite has a spacious open plan ground floor with living room, dining room and kitchen. The fully-fitted oak kitchen is well equipped with cooker, hob, fridge, microwave and washing machine, providing all the ameniteis required during your visit.
Open plan with comfortable seating for six people. it has English tv and a dvd player.
Located on the first floor is the first bedroom with a double bed and pine furniture.
The second floor mezzanine bedroom has a double bed, skylight and pine furniture.
An additional bedroom with twin beds is located through this room on the second floor.
Located on the first floor is an attractive bathroom with shower, toilet and sink.
The gite has central heating for use in cold weather.
Outside is your own patio with barbecue, as well as picnic benches in the orchard where you can relax and read in the shade of a large walnut tree.
Parking is available close to the Gite.
Our property is suitable for a wide range of guests.
We would advise that bedrooms are on the upper levels so unsuitable for guests who have trouble negotiating stairs.
For this reason we would advise against toddlers, although us fitting stair gates could be possible.
We are Lee and John. We semi retired to France last year with our four cats and two dogs. We took over Bonsentier from the previous owners and have spent the last nine months exploring the local area and improving the facilities in the gite. Bonsentier makes a great base for a relaxing sojourn in the treasures of the national parc and medieval towns. We look forward to greeting you!

|Why this location?||Our family have enjoyed holidays throughout France over the years and we have come to love this area; both for the amazing scenery and for the local villages and medieval towns. This is a wonderful area for walking, cyling, fishing and riding, whilst providing everything needed for a relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.|
|Unique benefits of property||Our property retains many of the original features, whilst providing everything needed for modern life. The covered seating area has its own barbecue, whilst a separate garden provides a large grassed area with picnic benches for your private use. The garden for the main house is totally separate from the gite garden therefore ensuring privacy.|
