About the Owner/Advertiser, Mr Jeremy Moyle

Le Clos is owned by Jeremy and Sandrine Moyle, a Francobritish couple. When we are not teaching in the UK, we spend much of our time with our young family staying in Fleury where Sandrine herself spent much of her childhood.<br/>The house, which is believed to date back prior to the French Revolution (indeed we found a Revolution coin in the floor joists!) has been named “Le Clos” after a piece of land which belonged to the house until 1998.

Year property purchased 2003
Why this location? Le Clos was previously owned by the Duval family but had not been occupied since the 1960s. Following our engagement in 2002, we purchased the house before getting married in Fleury the following summer. Le Clos is the result of our wish to sympathetically restore and extend the house and furnish it with the best of French and British to provide delightful holiday accommodation! All visitors to Le Clos feel that we have succeeded and have loved the house and “our part of France” – we look forward to you letting us know what you think!
Unique benefits of property Le Clos is a delightful house situated in a secluded area of the village of Fleury, a few minutes drive from the lively town of Villedieu-les-Poêles and approximately 30 minutes drive from many lovely, sandy beaches. The perfect setting to unwind with a glass of wine or local cider - a bottle of each is in the fridge waiting for you! The house is easily accessible from ferry and airports and provides a perfect base for exploring the best of rural, coastal and historic Normandy. Le Clos has undergone a complete professional and sympathetic renovation and extension to provide modern holiday accommodation which retains much of the character of the original building – notably oak beams, a large granite fireplace with woodburner and wooden floors. Outside there is a terrace and lawn area and parking for several cars.
Three bedrooms for up to six people and a baby. Linen and towels provided with beds made up.
Shower room, ensuite bathroom and three toilets.
Large site at end of lane.
