Newly renovated in 2018, Bouillante is nestled in the beautiful countryside on the Normandy/Brittany border in a very private setting. Ideal for families or friends, the accommodation includes 5 bedrooms all en suite with a combination of baths and showers. 4 of the bedrooms are upstairs and 1 downstairs, ideal for those with difficulty climbing stairs. All the bedrooms have double beds and one also has bunk beds and can be used as a family room. One bedroom is a mini-suite with sofa bed.

Gamesroom with full size pool table, table football, darts and many other games. Much of the original character of the property has been retained, including beamed ceilings and lime rendered walls, yet it incorporates all modern conveniences such as free wi-fi, French and UK Freeview tv and a fully equipped kitchen.

The full-size 10m x 5m in ground swimming pool is heated to a comfortable 28 degrees and children are well catered for in the gamesroom and outside play area which includes trampoline, swing set and slide and a playhouse. About the Owner/Advertiser, Mr Max Owen

We gave up the corporate 'rat race' 5 years ago and moved to France with our children to enjoy a quieter life. We are now establishing a gite business with 3 properties, 2 of which are running in 2018 and the final one in 2020. We are focusing on providing charming period properties with modern conveniences and heated in-ground swimming pools for 10-14 people respectively. We endeavour to make every holiday for our guests a great experience, nothing is too much trouble.

Our one week three generation family holiday was agreed by all to be a tremendous success. As an active family the house was in an ideal position for cycling and walking and provided a good sized pool for the end of the day.
The old farm house has been tastefully modernised providing personal space for everyone and the owner has thoughtfully provided many extras to the usual required contents .
We found Max easy to contact and quick to respond to questions . Thank you .

Incredible property with first class facilities. The location is private whilst being conveniently located near to local amenities and shops. Everyone in our group of 11 (5 adults and 6 children) had a great holiday and loved the property and facilities onsite. The property was even better than presented in the advertisement and was clean and well finished with all the extras you could want. Thanks to Max the property owner for providing such great service and a great holiday destination.

A lovely house in a beautiful rural setting. A great location for family and friends to stay with a super swimming pool, children's play area, games room and outside table tennis table. We enjoyed using the BBQ and cooking in the great kitchen which is large and has a table to sit 12/14 easily, there is also an outside table that sits 12/14, which is perfect on warm evenings. The local village of St James has a market on a Monday morning with great meat and vegetables available and the bakery in the village is fantastic. A Carrefour in the centre of the village and is useful, the Super U supermarket on the outskirts of the town offers everything you need. A quiet peaceful private location that we all enjoyed a lot, would recommend and will consider using again. The owner was easy to communicate with and very helpful, his recommendations of Mont St Michel, Caroles beach and St Malo were spot on.

I cannot speak highly enough of our experience at bouillante. From the initial booking to when we got back home the owner was excellent. Answered any questions we had straight away and kept us up to date with the details which we needed to travel. The property was exceptional! Maintain to a 5 star quality throughout. The house was plenty big enough to accommodate all our party and with en-suites in every room made it even better. They really had thought of everything even to the small things like children’s step stools and hairdryers in every room. The outside space was amazing views over fields and countryside to the rear and when we got the weather to use it the pool was great! We couldn’t get the kids in from playing outside. The trampoline was definitely a winner! Although during our week here we didn’t have the best weather, we didn’t let it ruin things. With the town of St James just up the road we had all amenities right on the door step. Also there was a fantastic zoo called Champrepus, alligator bay and children’s amusement park all within about half an hour. Not to mention the amazing beach half hour away near Granville. Overall I will definitely be recommending this place to all of my friends and family! Thanks so much for a great holiday!!
