9.5 / 10 Dom and Karen 7 September, 2019

We had a lovely week with our children and in-laws who stayed in the separate annexe. It is a beautiful property and the facilities and pool were clean and well maintained.

The generous welcome pack was much appreciated and the children enjoyed the pool floats and outdoor games provided along with the Xbox.

Sourdeval is a couple of minutes drive and the local patisserie were excellent. We enjoyed the market day too (Tuesday). The host and manager were extremely helpful with useful local information.

We ventured further afield on a couple of days, St Malo, Mont St Michel and Dinan were less than 90 minutes drive and well worth a visit.

Overall an excellent property we would happily recommend.

9.3 / 10 Lawson 19 August, 2019

The property is in a beautiful setting the swimming pool is good with swimming pool toys for the children, local facilities in Sourdeval are good, the inside is clean and spacious, we were informed that it’s due to have a new kitchen and the beds were a bit soft for us, but this would not stop me going again.

The property is in a great location for people to explore or just relax by the pool, we would recommend the property to friends.

9.7 / 10 The Hoey Family 29 July, 2019

This is a really lovely home set in an absolutely stunning location and we had the most fabulous week there in mid July. I understand that the owners are planning to upgrade the house facilities which would be of good benefit but that is not to say that the house isn’t already a very welcoming and homely place to spend a great family holiday. The pool is superb (although chilly in the morning but that just gets you off to a good start for the day!) and all the other games, dvd’s, swing ball, inflatables etc etc etc really make this a fantastic place to stay for all the family. Enjoy an evening pre dinner drink in the sun on the balcony of the very well fitted out cottage and breakfast in the morning sun at the front of the house - there’s also plenty of shade for those who enjoy the outside but not the heat of the sun. The house is also lovely and cool during the day and although it naturally creaks and groans as bit in the early hours of the morning as the timbers cool, it is a very well equipped and comfortable. I’m sure the upgrade will include new carpets in the bedrooms which are needed but the beds, new linen and towels are ideal for all the family needs. The town, which is just a few minutes away, is ideal with gorgeous bakers, butchers and a well stocked supermarket as well as a very helpful and friendly tourist info office but make sure you check the opening times. The owners and manager are really welcoming so a superb place to stay overall!

Owner response

Thanks glad you had a marvellous time, the carpets are booked to be changed amongst other things.
