Rural Renovated Farmhouse Retaining Charm And Beauty. This cottage/gite is in a rural setting.

La Macere is a completely modern renovated farmhouse set in the countryside of Normandy on the outskirts of the beautiful village of Lonlay L'Abbaye.
 
The property is set in its own grounds with with a  patio area immediately in front of the house which leads onto the ample size lawn garden allowing for relaxation or play.
At the bottom of the garden is a building offering a play room which is perfect for the children to escape and play and leave the adults relaxing in the main farmhouse.
The outside furniture is ideal for dinning and enertaining around the bbq or just lying in the sun on the loungers.
 
The property is well furnished and the building renovation has retained the charm and character of the original building having exposed beams and a wood burner stove centrally placed between the dinning room and lounge area.
 
The 3 bedrooms overlook the front of the house and the lawn gradens. the bedrooms are large and well appointed with pine furnishings. 
 
The property is available from May to October with a change over day to suit you timetable.

The kitchen is modern and well equipped with tableware, china and appliances to include a cooker having twin ovens, microwave, toaster, electric kettle and coffee maker, toaster and washer dryer, there is a very large separate dinning area with a pine farmhouse table able to seat 8 people plus a second table to allow the children to play and draw without disturbing the meal table.

Living rooms

Beautiful oak beam living room housing 2 large settees and a couple of arm chairs, a wood burner fireplace. A radio / cd player, tv and dvd player with a satellite connection. A wi-fi central to the house for all around internet connection.

Bedrooms

Three large bedrooms with two bedrooms containing queens beds and the third accommodation the children housing a bunk and double bed. All rooms have dressing tables and wardrobes.

Bathrooms

First floor large family bathroom with corner bath, overhead shower, washbasin, w/c and bidet. There is also a separate toilet on the first floor.

Heating

The property has a centrally situated wood burning stove and im ever room as a electric wall or fan heater should you require a immediate heat.

Entertainment

Tv with English satellite and a dvd player. A selection of dvds both children and adult. A small library of books , board games. Wi-fi.

Garden and outside

Patio garden with bbq, table and chairs and sun loungers.
Ample size lawn garden with swing ball and other children's games.

Parking and garages

Off road parking for four cars.

I purchased this house many years ago and totally rebuilt it. My children and I love our yearly holidays here.
