A lovely quiet place to stay in a beautiful surrounding. Very welcoming and accommodating owners. Lovely and comfy, good sized rooms, 2 showers, 2 toilets and a washing machine which all aids to a great stay!! Very pretty all lit up at night. Plenty to do at the property - we enjoyed badminton, cricket, croquet, boule, playing hide and seek in the large expanse of gardens plus being nosey and exploring the old buildings and finding a hidden bread oven!! There is a friendly duck and some cats to talk to too!!!
Plenty to do at the cottage with DVDs, Board games,UK sky TV & WIFI if the weather is a little wet & you fancy a chill out day!! Lots to see and do in Normandy all within a couple of hours drive - we visited Mont st Michel, Bayeaux, Sword Beach, Caen, Lassey les Chateuax, Festy land, plus many villages & towns nearer to the property. Not an awful lot to do in the Village itself which is a shame as it is the pear capital, there was a cider farm but it wasn't open when we went. - some good walks in the countryside, a church & a lake, a small supermarket is open for a few hours each day as is a bar. Be prepared - you are staying in a converted medieval property in the middle of the countryside so there are spiders and Mice which all add to the rustic charm of the property!!

We ( Grannie and Grandpa ) took our twin 11 years old grandchildren. The Gite was marvellous, interesting and very comfortable. We were warmly welcomed and the garden was a revelation! 2 acres to explore! All safe and interesting - with Croquet, Badminton and archery.
The kitchen was well appointed with microwave and new hobs and oven. We all enjoyed a very good time. There's a resident friendly dog, an inquisitive cat and two elderly ducks around. The latter have two ponds - so not good for small unwatched children.
Market in nearby Le Teileul and adequate shops. Domfront is not far away and has bigger Carrefour and restaurants, churches and castle. La Fosse Artour not far with scenic walks and lakes. Mortain has cascades and plenty shops.
All you could want and more!
