Le Cottage is a beautifully restored stone farm building offering a cosy, romantic retreat for a couple with or without a baby. Snuggle up in front of the antique wood burning stove or enjoy a glass of wine on the private terrace as the sun goes down – this tranquil bolt hole offers the perfect country escape at any time of year.
The terrace looks onto the fully enclosed garden, and guests are welcome to stroll through the communal lawns and grounds of the property - we have some farm animals for children to pet. Although we are quietly situated well away from busy roads, the quirky market town of Trun, with a full range of shops, is within walking distance. There is also an 18 hole golf course in our village, with reduced green fees for our guests.
The kitchen in made from local oak wood. There is an automatic washing machine, gas hob and oven, and a fridge with ice box.
We supply plastic plates and cutlery for younger guests, a microwave steriliser, and a high chair or booster seat if required.
The living room has a comfortable 2 seat sofa, on front of the fireplace with antique woodburning stove.
The television has both French and Freeview channels, and we also supply a few dvds for the dvd player.
We provide toys for younger guests.
The bedroom is open plan, and under the eaves on the first floor. The bed is a continental king size (160cm) with a very comfortable mattress, and we provide a wooden cot.
The cot can be exchanged for a fold-down bed for older children.
The bathroom has both a bath and a walk-in shower, wc and wash hand basin.

|Why this location?||Normandy has so much to offer the visitor, and is very easily accessible from the UK, making it ideal for short breaks, as well as longer holidays. There is so much to see and do within a short radius of our properties, and both the countryside and coast are beautiful.|
|Unique benefits of property||Our property is ideal for families, or a couple. We offer attractively refurbished accommodation, in an idyllic setting, but within easy reach of a small market town. Trun is only 2 minutes by car, or you can walk in 15 minutes on a traffic-free footpath.|
