About the Owner/Advertiser, Mr Alexander Heath

I spend my time between the UK and France and always when in France I get the feeling of peace, tranquility and a recharge of vitality ....being closer to very beautiful natural surroundings is far from the `madding crowd`.

Year property purchased 2004
Why this location? Superb unspoilt area, fantastic natural view over the ever changing panorama of the lake, perfect for couples just wanting to` chill out`, fish, read, walk or cycle, generally relax ,drink nice wine, eat lovely cheeses accompanied with traditonal french bread, meet locals in the cafes, restaurants or bars and enjoy very reasonably priced excellent value meals. Immersion in French style and complete change from your `norm`!
Unique benefits of property Simply the view ! overlooks the lake and forest. Water sparkles like diamonds and stars sparkle clearly in the sky. ( purity of air because of so many life giving trees ! )

The Owner Recommends

Restaurants/Cafes. Brocantes.Markets. Historical/Musical Festival/ Fetes. Chateaux.

It would take a book to describe the very numerous activities on offer in the region.( in fact a lot of information is available for guests, depending on individual tastes )
Basically the choices will be taken individually because every guest has their own particular passion. Maybe just wanting to be close to nature, standing in the middle of the Forest actually listening to the sound of Silence? Maybe sportive ? love all places Historical? Passionate about music /concerts? visiting chateaux ( more than 500 in the region) eating out and sampling so many lovely restaurant/cafes in the area in local villages with ancient churches/buildings.
