We retired early and visited many departments in France, eventually settling here in the South West Charente region. We love the open space, and the easy going, relaxing way of life here in breathtaking countryside..
We never realized we would make so many friends and have such a great social life here in paradise.
Being keen gardeners we are kept busy looking after the 2 acres of land, adding new plants and shrubs every season.
We have 2 adorable little westies and a few rescued cats.
