Please see below some reviews left in our visitor book:

"What a great relaxing holiday we've had! The pool has been wonderful and just the right temperature on hot days. Le Fot is so well appointed and everything works (unlike previous french villa holidays!!). We've had great fun exploring the local area - the Roman baths at Chassenon, Oradour-sur-Glane, Limoges, the market at Piegut Pluviers (piglets, hens, ducks and rabbits too!), Angouleme and on a wet day - Hennessy in Cognac.
We had a great meal at Hotel de France in Rochechouart - tasty, reasonable and friendly hosts.
We will definitely be visiting the area again. "

"We've had a wonderful week at Le Fot! The house was extremely comfortable with everything our family of 5 needed. It was beautiful to sit on the deck in the morning and evening. The kids loved the pool - this proved to be an essential retreat during the hot, hot weather! Thanks Phil for being so attentive when we called, your advice worked perfectly!
We would love to return in the future, thanks again."

"A glorious 2 weeks in the beautifully quiet Le Fot - a little slice of heaven!
The cottage is so well equipped, in fact I don't think we've stayed anywhere quite so well equipped as Le Fot.
We loved the pool on hot days and chilling in the lounge on the couple of rainy days we had.
Although we had lots of bbq's, eating out provides plenty of choice. Chasseneuil has a good pizza restaurant and a french bistro whilst our favourite was actually La Table de Rouge Masures in Roumazière - the appearance, (a truckers cafe) belies the quality of the food. Sadly, La Cote Boeuf has shut down.
Cognac is worth a visit (Hennessy tour is 18 euros but worth it) as is Oradour. We also enjoyed Confolens which is a lovely town. Bakery in Cherve is great. Supermarkets in Romaz and Chasseneuil are all good too. Thanks, we will be back!!"

"A lovely restful two week holiday. The pool was always very warm and welcoming. The house was well equipped . Pedalos at Roumazière were fun.
Chateau de Rochebrune at Etagnac was very interesting and the Chateau de Rochefoucald was beautiful.
Confolens is a pretty medieval town to walk around and Oradour-sur-Glane was thought provoking.
The night market at Montbron was fabulous (but only held once a year!).
Loved the fluffy towels!! Thank you"

"A fantastic find, lovely house with great pool. We were able to relax in the quiet surroundings. It was lovely area to explore, we loved the market at Piegut - well worth a visit. Thanks"

The property was even nicer upon arrival. The welcome pack of food & wine was so thoughtful too. It was a great space, clean and incredibly well stocked with essentials. The booking of the property was easy and we felt at home from the moment we arrived.
We would definitely recommend this property - the peaceful setting, the house, outdoor space and pool were fabulous & great value for money.
We visited lots of local areas by car, it’s such a pretty area. Oradour Sur Glane was so moving. A few of us also went cycling - great if you don’t mind gentle hills.

A fabulous, relaxing holiday.
