Pretty historic town with several festivals year round which attraction people from all over the world. (Food, cartoon and car to mention 3)
Lovely sophisticated restaurants OR rustic casual dining all over the city. Great museum showing much pre-history artefacts. GO Ape attractions and lots of opportunity for boating and watersports all over the area. Cycling is very big in this area as are classic cars and related events for both.
One of France's most picturesque villages. Beautiful Monolithic Church and many cafes and bars to wander around.
Beautiful little town with castle nestled onto of the hill. Lovely market each week and a very good restaurant.
Several activities and festivals year round.
We all loved our stay with Rebecca and her family. We arrived very late after a long journey to be greeted with a chilled bottle of wine and some bread/cheese.
The covered pool was great to keep the kids away from the sun while they played in it all day.
Local boulangerie was 5 minutes away, supermarket was 10 minutes. City of Angoulême was about 20 minutes which had everything.
Went fishing most nights, all the boys caught their first fishes - they’re hooked for life now - thanks Mark for setting us up.
