This is our beloved holiday home, a lovely maison de garde barriere cottage with 3/4 acre garden surrounded by fields, overlooking the village of Champagne Mouton with bank, bar and shops. Two bedrooms (double and triple), Wi-fi and satellite tv, shaded terrace with outdoor dining table and barbecue. Huge garden laid to lawn with oaks, pines, large trampoline, 8m x 4m swimming pool with roll-on cover (open from mid-May to mid-Oct). Twenty minutes from the picturesque towns of Confolens and La Rochefoucauld, within easy reach of Angouleme, Limoges and Poitiers. Nearby pleasure lakes, river canoeing, fishing. medieval villages and towns, some with stunning chateaux.
