Outside there are 2 patios one if which is under cover and houses the jacuzzi. There are extensive gardens planted out with loungers and chairs for sunbathing near the pool. There is ample parking at the front of the property.

The villa was and still is the owners home so is adorned with personal memories pictures,ornaments and little personal items for you to enjoy as a home from home. And you will find everything you need for an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped with a double oven microwave and dishwasher. Also an American fridge-freezer with ice maker also there is enough cutlery and crockery for 10 people.

The dinning table with enough seating for 8 people is adjacent to the kitchen.

There is a patio door that leads out to the rear patio with jacuzzi and swimming pool.

Living rooms

The living room has ample space for 8 plus people with comfortable seating and features a logburner for the winter evenings and a 55 inch colour tv with English free view channels.

There is a patio door which leads out onto the side patio.


There are 4 bedrooms two of which are en suite and all with fitted wardrobes.

The fourth bedroom is fitted out as a library with a three seater luxury settee that can be converted to a permanent bed according to occupancy.


There are 3 bathrooms two of which are en suite both with large walk in showers. The third bathroom which is shared between bedrooms 3 and 4 has a bath.


The house has central heating radiators in all rooms with the addition of a logburner in the lounge.


The lounge has a 55 inch colour tv with English free view and a surround sound stereo system with dvd player. There are several dvds for your use as needed.

Garden and outside

There are 2 patios for your relaxation with gardens and lawns on all sides of the house.

There is a 10 by 4 metre heated pool with lots of pool toys.

Parking and garages

There is enough parking at the front of the property for 6 cars. The garages are for the owners cars and property.

Visitor suitability

The property is suitable for families with young children.

Supervision is a must at all times in and around the pool area. The pool will be heated from April until September.

Why this location? Beautiful countryside but close to towns for shopping and leisure.
Unique benefits of property Lots of room, comfortable, with a heated swimming pool for the summer months and bicycles for visitors. A safe environment no need to lock everything up and lots of outdoors to enjoy the long summer months. We have central heating in all rooms for the chilly nights and a log fire for extra winter heating. There is also a 5 person jaccuzi to finish off the evenings if you don't fancy the uk tv with freeview channels.

Markets, Restaurants and Playtime

There are markets in Chabanais on Thursdays and Saint Junien on Saturdays.

Chabanais has restaurants to suit every taste and Saint Junien has more variety with Italian, Chinese and nice French restaurants all of which I can direct you to.

There is kayaking on the river Charente just a few kilometres away, and mountain bikes.

There is a sailing and swimming lake with a beach and snack bar/restaurant just 20 mins away at Pressignac
