This was our 3rd year staying at this cottage - we find it ideal for us.
A rural retreat yet close enough to the larger towns and beaches within the area - superb restaurants nearby - and makes it an ideal base to explore and experience the French way of life.... tres bon.
This family is about to book up for a fourth year at the cottage.
The restaurants Auberge des Monards and The Cottage were excellent.
Mr Cobb's email comments (below) don't really equate with his marking with regard to value for money!
The value for money mark could simply equate to the fact that there were only two people in their party.
Dear Mrs Newman,
We enjoyed our restful week in your very comfortable and well equipped cottage. It was just what we needed. We were sorry to miss xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx when she called on the Sunday, but at the time we were having an excellent lunch at the Auberge des Monards. The weather throughout the week was perfect.
Now back home after our second week in France, I have just posted your key back to you.
