Delightful gite in a tranquil hamlet setting in Charente Maritime, close to many traditional towns and villages and ideal for exploring the region.
Our nearest town is Mauze-sur-le-Mignon 4klm away has supermarket, bakers, butchers, banks chemists etc It also has a swimming pool and tennis courts.
Our gite comprises on the ground floor an open plan living and dining room and fully-fitted kitchen.
There is an open tread staircase to the upper floor which has 2 bedrooms, one double and one twin also a shower room
Private parking. The garden has a table, chairs and barbecue.

The Donjon de Niort is a fine historic castle and there is also the impressive Hotel de Ville. There are parks to stroll around and a good golf course. There are also good bistros and restaurants.

Sugeres is 9km away and has 3 supermarkets including a large L'Eclerc and a full range of small shops and a good selection of restaurants. Wnjoy a stroll around the chateau and church with walled gardens. Markets twice a week. There is a main line station offering TGV train travel to Paris in 2.5 hours.
