Farmhouse, Pool in Grounds & Lake. This villa is in a rural setting.

Le Moulin du Lary is situated in its own secluded grounds of 12 acres, surrounded by countryside yet close to all amenities. There is a small lake in the front of the grounds and the River Lary bounds the garden.
Accommodation includes the use of a 12 x 6m solar heated swimming pool:-
The Farmhouse which has been beautifully restored can sleep up to 12.  The  property has 5 bedrooms, fully fitted kitchen, utility room, 2 reception rooms, shower room, bathroom, separate first floor wc and a further separate wc downstairs. Outside dining area for 12, barbecue facilities in ancient bread oven area and 1 hectare of lawns. Wi-fi available.
Outside peak season - mid July to the end of August -  it may be possible for parties of up to 7 people to rent part of the Farmhouse.

Kitchen and dining

Farmhouse. The kitchen is off the salon and contains a 4 ring gas hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. The adjacent utility room contains the washing machine and freezer as well as an iron and ironing board.

Living rooms

Farmhouse. A large open fireplace, seating for up to 12 including 2 sofas (one of which is a sofabed) and 6 armchairs. Tv (including access to BBC 1,2,3 & 4 and ITV 1,2 & 3 among others) dvd and video player. There is a spiral staircase to the first floor.
There is also a smaller salon containing 2 sofas and 4 chairs with access to the front garden.
The third salon is a library full of english books.
Downstairs wc.


Farmhouse. Bedroom 1 - double bedded room with fitted cupboards and overlooking the garden.
Bedroom 2 - contains 3 single beds and fitted cupboards.
Bedroom 3 - is a double bedded room with fitted cupboards facing the front garden and french windows to a verandah.
Bedroom 4 - a double bedded room with wardrobe.
Bedroom 5 - contains 3 single beds with views to the mill and mill pond.


Farmhouse. This is a large bathroom with a full size bath, a shower, wash hand basin and wc. There is a separate shower room with washbasin. There is a separate wc between the shower room and bedroom 4. There is also a wc downstairs next to the utility room.

Three sets of french windows open on to covered patios and the rear patio is equipped with table and chairs for up to 12 people to dine al fresco and is adjacent to the barbecue which is set in the old bread oven in an hectare of lawns

Not far away are 2 lakes with facilities for children to swim and play on beaches with cafes and one with a waterslide.


Horse riding, walking, cycling (bikes can be hired) all close by, golf not that far away and wine tasting all around us.


Cercoux has a shop, garage, baker and cafe/restaurant. Montguyon has a supermarket, banks and restaurants. Coutras has markets and all facilities. Other markets can be found in Chalais, Libourne, Montguyon, Blaye,Bordeaux, and all round us.
