Many of our guests come back year after year, so we think you'll like it!
We stayed in one of the cottages and we were pleasantly surprised by how quaint it all was, spotlessly clean and set in big flowering grounds. A nice holiday.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay and loved how typically French the place was. The location was spot on and had everything we wanted. Will definitely visit again.

As I had read almost all of the owner's books I was very disappointed not to meet her. The place is very nice and we enjoyed it but I do feel the owner should have let me know she wouldn't be there to greet us. The housekeeper dealt with all that and was very helpful to us. A good holiday overall.
We have stayed on several occasions, with an assortment of family of all ages, both in the Chateau and in the Gites at Rochebonne since 2003. We have so enjoyed seeing the development of the site and have found the proprietors and the staff to be most accommodating and friendly. Both the Chateau and the Gites have adequately met all our needs in the aspect of household essentials, in terms of furnishings and comfortable beds/ bedding, and any extra item requests have always been met willingly. The charming and relaxed ambiance at Rochebonne and the delightful nearby places of interest have lured us to return time and time again!

We only came for a long weekend but wish we could have stayed longer. Rustic, rural French charm at its best. Perfect setting as a base for exploring all the area has to offer. We all loved the grounds especially the children. Very pretty. The help from Sarah when booking and leading up to our stay was excellent and she was always prompt with responses to emails etc, while Christine on site was the perfect balance of on hand but not intrusive. We will definitely be back and for longer next time. Thank you. And please pass on thanks to the owner Catherine too as up keep of a place like she has here much be never ending. A little gem.
We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay, Thank you so much for the lovely review, I will pass on your comments to the others and thank you too for your suggestions while staying with us. We look forward to welcoming you back soon.
