A fantastic use of stone, bleached wood and light contemporary furnishings, along with a roof terrace perfect for an al fresco breakfast or wine and cheese as you watch the sun go down, make Le Batiment a very special place to stay.
The house is converted from a traditional stone barn and stands in the small, peaceful and very pretty French village of Puymoreau. The village is surrounded by the rolling countryside of the Charente Maritime region, bordered by vibrant sunflower fields.
All the old features of exposed stone walls and original beams have been carefully preserved but the finish is light, airy and contemporary to give a comfortable living space with all modern comforts.
An extremely well-equipped kitchen with gas hob and electric oven. Fridge-freezer. Dishwasher, microwave, coffee-machine.
Lovely mezzanine sitting area with comfortable seating with double doors out to the terrace.
One double with en suite shower room.
One twin room with adjacent bathroom.
Two full bathrooms, one with walk-in shower and the other with a bath.
Solar hot water.
Electric central heating.
iPod docking station.
Great roof terrace with dining table and chairs. A fab spot for sunbathing or having a sundowner as you watch the sun set.
A lower terrace with bistro table, great for breakfast.
Free wi-fi is provided.
