Set over 3 floors the house offers a large well equipped kitchen opening into a dining room with an open fire, a large lounge, with open fire and a balcony overlooking the river.
The house has been decorated and furnished to an exceptionally high standard, having been modernised and renovated in early 2016, with a new kitchen, bathrooms and total redecoration, offering luxury and comfort in a beautiful setting, we have given a great deal of thought to your stay.
The garden leads directly onto the River Charente and we are happy to leave our canoes and kayaks at the house for your use for the duration of your stay.
For watersport enthusiasts the area is ideal, in addition to the canoes and kayaks you can hire a boat and explore the river, sail up to Port d'Envaux stop for lunch and then continue to Taillebourg where you can try your hand at waterskiing and wake boarding.
Well equipped kitchen, brand new fixtures and fittings in 2016, all appliances are top of the range, including dishwasher, American fridge-freezer, double oven, separate hob, central island unit and dining area set for 8 people comfortably.
Lounge overlooking the river Charente, including open fireplace, seating for 8 comfortably with 2 large comfortable sofas and 2 armchairs, Smart tv with Netflix ideal for those evenings when the children are exhausted from a day on the beach or river!
Just off the lounge is a snug/reading room with a sofa and plentiful supply of books, leading off the snug is a balcony overlooking the river, ideal for drinks on the balcony watching the sun set over the Charente.
Four bedrooms, 3 are double rooms plus a twin bedroom.
Two of the double bedrooms have their own private en suite, one of which has an exquisite bath by the window overlooking the river.

We are fortunate to have private parking with our property.
We have lived in Saint Savinien sur Charente since 2004 with our 3 children. We have always loved the houses on Quai des Fleurs and when the opportunity arose last year year to buy one of these beautiful riverside townhouses, we jumped at the chance. We both work in the area and our 'no longer small' children go to school in Saintes, La Rochelle and uni in the UK.

We can highly recommend a number of local restaurants which serve fresh local produce.
