Sunflower Lodge and the Potting Shed Annexe are set within the grounds of Le Triskèle. The lodge is full of charm with the added benefit of all modern facilities including gas central heating, and its own private courtyard garden and covered terrace. The Potting Shed is a self-contained double bedroom with en suite shower room (please note that the cooking facilities are contained within Sunflower Lodge). These 2 properties are perfect for a family or for 2 couples holidaying together but requiring their own space. The Potting Shed is also perfect for Nanny and Grandad!
Sunflower Lodge has a large well equipped kitchen with the following appliances:
Full-size electric oven
Four burner gas hob
Iron and Ironing Board
All necessary crockery, utensils and pots and pans
There is a separate dining room with large table and chairs.
Pretty living room with beautiful stained glass window and views over the gardens. Comfy seating for all guests. 32" lcd tv with dvd player (receives English free-sat channels), cd player, good selection of dvds and books.
Sunflower Lodge has a very pretty mezzanine master bedroom with 160cm/5' bed and plenty of storage. The second bedroom has 2 single beds. We provide linen for all beds (a change is provided for stays of 2 weeks) and beds are made up for your arrival.
The Potting Shed has 140cm/4'6" bed, plenty of storage and a lcd tv which receives English Freesat channels. Tea/coffee making facilities.
Sunflower Lodge has a large and airy family bathroom, with bath with shower over, basin and wc. We provide towels for all guests. The bathroom is on the ground floor.
The Potting Shed has an en suite shower room with basin and wc.
Both Sunflower Lodge and the Potting Shed have full gas central heating.
Tvs with English Freesat, dvd player, cd player, boardgames
The cottages have their own private patios with outdoor tables and chairs and a pretty courtyard garden for private use. There is also access to the lovely communal gardens which are provided with tables, chairs, parasols and sunloungers. Guests have the use of a full-size table tennis table and various outdoor games.
Parking is available on-site for one vehicle. Additional vehicles can park just outside the property walls.
Sunflower Lodge is suitable for families and couples and the Potting Shed is suitable for couples or perhaps a teenage child looking for a bit of personal space. Sleeping accommodation in Sunflower Lodge is on the 1st floor therefore it is not considered suitable for those with limited mobility, however, the Potting Shed may be suitable for those with slight mobility problems (please enquire for further information).
We can provide a cot or highchair - subject to availability, but please be aware that the stairs have open treads, so may not be suitable for toddlers.
Please also note that the second bedroom in Sunflower Lodge has a low door and sloping ceiling.
It may be possible to rent Sunflower Lodge as a sole unit for up to 4 guests. Please enquire for rates.

|Why this location?||We love the tranquility of being in a peaceful rural village surrounded by vineyards and sunflowers. However, we are within easy reach of numerous tourist attractions and stunning villages and towns, both on the coast and inland.|
|Unique benefits of property||The property is light and airy and offers good sized accommodation that is well furnished and very well equipped. There is a private courtyard garden area for the sole use of the guests and a larger communal garden in which to enjoy the tranquility of our little hamlet.|

Our nearest town with a fine example of a Romanesque Church, seasonal open-air pool, restaurants, bakers, supermarkets, banks etc and its lively Sunday Market where you can buy fresh local produce.
'La Rochelle' A must see! This seaside port is the third most visited destination in France after Paris and Aix en Provence. A vibrant port full of hustle and bustle where you can sit around one of the hundred harbour facing restaurants people watching lapping up some Moules Frites!!
'Cognac' Visit a world famous distillery. Try the local aperitif pineau. Lovely market and beautiful parks. You can also enjoy a boat trip on the Charente River in a traditional gabare.
For centuries a way station on the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostella, this pretty town hosts large Wednesday and Saturday markets. Here you will find many shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants offering French and international cuisine.

A fantastic way to while away a day by taking out your own rowing boat or a guided tour boat.
