For relaxing or active holidays: our cottage is ideally located to explore Charente Maritime from the beautiful beaches of the coast to the cellars of Cognac. You'll enjoy the calm of the countryside among the vineyards, while being only 8 km away from the little medieval town of Pons, and only 35 min drive from St Georges de Didonne's lovely beach. The hard part will be to get the kids out of the property where they'll enjoy the solar heated swimming pool (completely safe and enclosed), the playground and the playroom with their new friends!
One large double bedroom, one kids bedroom with 2 single beds, a large living room with a dining area, a well equipped kitchen, this rental situated in a converted vineyard, is specially equipped to accommodate families with toddlers (stairgate, potty, changing mat, non sleeping bath mat, highchair, cot, etc..)
Outside you'll find the nice and enclosed courtyard with a kids cabin, a swing, a mini trampoline, a ping pong table, and a playroom for the little ones. On Sundays, I invite all my guests to an aperitif buffet, the opportunity to taste local products (goat cheese, melon, pork specialities and Pineau and Cognac), to meet the other families and to talk of all the visits and activities you can enjoy around, and believe me, there's quite a lot!

When we, Michelle, Manu, Angela and Anouk, decided to leave Paris, we could only choose this beautiful region for our new life. We had spent here all our summer holidays for 8 years. A true love story! The light, the weather, the architecture, the beaches, the vineyards, the relaxed and kind population, and the food, we loved everything here! And three years later, we still do!<br/>So we bought this wonderful cluster of accommodations located in a former vinefarm and especially equipped for kids.
|Year property purchased||2014|
|Why this location?||Situated in a small and calm hamlet among the vineyards of Cognac and Pineau, but only 8 km from the little medieval town of Pons, and all its facilities, our converted vine farm is the ideal location to visit Charente Maritime. We're half way between Royan's beaches and Cognac, only ten minutes from the highway to reach Bordeaux and La Rochelle (each of them are around 1 hour drive). Charente Maritime is one of the sunniest area in France, but never too hot (25°C to 30/35°C in summer)|

And once a week I propose the kids a craft session according to their age.|
