Old 300 year old Charentaise house which has been renovated to include all modern facilities while maintaining the charm of the property.
There is space for 8 people plus a baby. There are comfortable sofas in the lounge to sit on with a tv and dvd. Radio/cd player also.
The house has its own parking to accommodate 4 cars and has its own private entrance.
The house is situated 1.5 km to the nearest supermarket and they also hire cars there too. The lane that the house is on is not a through road to anywhere and peters out into a field so passing traffic limited to those who live there.
There is a fully-fitted and equipped kitchen with cooker and extractor. Washer and dishwasher. Microwave, coffee-maker and toaster.

There are 3 bedrooms. All a good size with wooden floors. there are 2 bedrooms with double beds and one bedroom with twin beds. A cot can be placed in one of the rooms if required .
There is a wet room downstairs with a shower and toilet installed. There is a toilet upstairs too. There is a towel rail in the wet room to allow heating in the bathroom.
A pellet stove is installed to provide heating for the house. Towel rail in the bathroom too.
Tv in the lounge with dvd player. Radio/cd player also games of croquet for the garden and also jigsaw and boardgames. Books too.
There is a balcony to the front of the house to allow views of the garden and the river at the bottom. there is a large garden of 2500 m2 to use. The garden is terraced so there are steps.
There is private parking for 4 cars outside the gite.
Suitable for families and couples alike. Pets allowed too.
Barbecue available for use.
We recently moved to this area and have renovated the gite. I am a former social services employee and my husband is a joiner. We moved to France to slow down and enjoy life in this superb place.
