Gite Fleurie is situated at the heart of the peaceful village of Souvigne in the undiscovered, rolling countryside of Deux Sèvres. A beautifully restored 19th century convent with traditional wood floors and superb oak staircases.
The gite has satellite TV & DVD, washing machine, dishwasher, garden furniture and BBQ.
There is a secluded, flood-lit pool, large sunterrace and beautiful, tranquil gardens with mature trees and shrubs.
If required, dinner with wine and coffee is available for all guests during July and August, prepared by Sue Woods, .
We are 10 mins from the A10 AutoRoute and the area is ideal for walking, cycling, golf, horse riding, fishing, and painting.

The gite has fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, kettle, coffee-maker, toaster, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
Dinner consists of an aperitif, 4 courses, wine and coffee 28€ a head. In summer, normally taken on the terrace. Prepared by Chef de-Cuisine, Sue Woods. Dinner is taken en famille.

One of the restaurants we recommend is the Nagdalena which is only 5 minutes away located in an old cinema and has retained the original character. It offers a wide choice of dishes and is particularly good for meat and pizzas.

If museums are your thing, why not visit the Military Museum in St Maxiant l'Ecole. This is attached to the military college and run by the French Army, entry is free and only 5 minutes away.
