The house is situated at the heart of the peaceful village of Souvigne in the undiscovered, rolling countryside of Deux Sèvres. A beautifully restored 19th century convent with traditional wood floors and superb oak staircases.
The B&B rooms are luxurious, with well appointed double en suite rooms. Cots are available and there is heating throughout.
There is a secluded, flood-lit pool, large sunterrace and beautiful, tranquil gardens with mature trees and shrubs.
If required, dinner with wine and coffee is available for all guestsduring July and August, prepared by Sue Woods, Chef de Cuisine.
We are 10 mins from the A10 AutoRoute and the area is ideal for walking, cycling, golf, horse riding, fishing, and painting.

Dinner consists of an aperitif, 4 courses, wine and coffee. In summer, normally taken on the terrace. Prepared by Chef de-Cuisine, Sue Woods. Dinner is taken en famille.

One of the restaurants we recommend is the Nagdalena which is only 5 minutes away located in an old cinema and has retained the original character. It offers a wide choice of dishes and is particularly good for meat and pizzas.

If museums are your thing, why not visit the Military Museum in St Maxiant l'Ecole. This is attached to the military college and run by the French Army, entry is free and only 5 minutes away.
