About the Owner/Advertiser, Mr Allan Jameson

We both had demanding and stressful jobs in the UK and came here for a well deserved blissful break and loved it so much we bought the property and relocated! We wanted a new adventure and boy did we get it, the property is well maintained and set in beautiful grounds, and our regular guests (approx 70% return every year) certainly love to return so we seem to be doing something right!

Year property purchased 2006
Why this location? We purchased our property in 2006 after we came to stay here as guests and fell in love with the property and the area, it is very central for Deux Sevres, Vienne, Charente and the Charente Maritime, we live in a micro climate and usually the weather is very good. The people are friendly, there is plenty of sights to see and visit it is in all a pretty amazing area to visit.
Unique benefits of property The property is set in a peaceful idyllic location, the houses bursting with original features- exposed stone walls and beams, fireplaces and flagstone floors giving the property a country feel, surrounded by fields.
Parts of the property were built in 1600 and progressed until later dates, Hollyhock cottage houses what was the bread oven for the village, it remains in place no longer working, but it is a little piece of history for the village. The properties have been renovated with love and style.
The large solar heated pool sits central in the grounds, with Lavender Cottage having frenchdoors to the poolside, a separate Jacuzzi spa is nestled among the trees for your use, perhaps with a glass of champagne whilst you star gaze at night, simply magical! We advertise for adults exclusively to ensure peace and tranquility but if both cottages are rented together children are welcome.
Come and see what all the fuss is about, we look forward to welcoming you soon!
