About the Owner/Advertiser, Mrs Nicola Gilmore

We have been living in France since 2007 and bought this property as a project in 2014. We have spent 3 years renovating both the property and garden and have pleasure in now being able to have it available for holidays. We run our own business looking after holiday homes and gardens. We try to be as self-sufficient as possible and have a large fruit and veg garden and also some chickens.

Year property purchased 2014
Why this location? We used to look after the garden for the previous owners and fell in love with the location. The previous owners (who had themselves bought it as a project) were coming out less and less so we approached them about buying it which they were happy for us to do.
Unique benefits of property The property is surrounded on 3 sides by fields and is on the edge of a small commune consisting of 6 houses. It provides privacy, peace and quiet and is perfect for that "step away from the madness of modern living" type of holiday. If you like walking or cycling, the nearest track starts at the cottage itself and you can go for miles without having to go anywhere near busy roads.
