This typically French property is a delightful mix of quaint and modern. It comfortable sleeps 4 people. There is a large living/dining area and separate kitchen, equipped with tv, fridge/freezer, cooker with hob, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. Upstairs offers two bedrooms and bathroom with separate shower and tiolet room. A cot is available on request. Visitors have use of the extensive gardens to the side of the property and a private patio area at the front of the house as well as use of the "Abri" where many a pleasant evening can be spent next to the bbq.
La Maison is a short walk from the vibrant town centre of Montmorillon where you will find a number of interesting shops as well as the usual boulangerie, boucherie and banks. There are also a number of lovely places to eat and drink including the award winning Lucullus for that special meal out!

Beautiful old french town with riverside walks and creperies and cafes. Market day on a Wednesday with many stalls selling local produce and crafts. Regular brocantes, music festivals and exhibitions.
Saturday morning market. Excellent local produce, wonderful fresh fish and shellfish. Well worth a visit being only 20 mins drive away. Go out for family fun on the Velorail and experience the the brilliant giants of the sky displays.
Excellent traditional restaurant in local hotel. 10 mins walk.

As well as the diversity of wildlife in the garden the Brenne, a vast area of man ,made lakes offers a range of wonderful bird watching opportunities along with great cycling paths to get around. Also includes nice restaurants, a museum of fishing and information centres if you wish find to find out more about the area and its history. The Brenne is only a 35 minute drive from Montmorillon
There are several lakeside beaches within easy reach that offer a range of watersport activities ideal for a family day out.
