Lesley and her son Jo where extremely friendly and helpful with their help with the house and local knowledge. The house was charming; the swimming pool a treat and the location in rural France a delightful haven.
- very private - owner had left some essentials in the fridge for us - we hadn't asked for this - sunny and shady areas on the plot - good open plan living/dining room - pool - good place for road cycling for adults
- no wi-fi nor TV - a problem with 'loir' in the attic which is being sorted out - a little too far from local amenities to walk there (eg bakery, restaurants) - not many restaurants in the area and some of them were shut - further from tourist attractions than anticipated - more detailed information needs to be given about the area/activities (eg many restaurants closed/need to book for Sunday evening; August 15 is a bank holiday in France; a detailed map of the area would have been useful)
