About the Owner/Advertiser, Mr Brian Jones

Both Gill and I were born in the north west of England and have lived at La Logerie for the last 10 years after seeing and falling in love with it. We are both animal lovers and have horses, pet sheep and chickens living here with us. We love the countryside and enjoy sharing our beautiful part of rural France with our guests.

Year property purchased 2006
Why this location? We just fell in love with the property and the area.
Unique benefits of property Peace and tranquillity, beautiful scenery and nature at it's best. This is a really lovely area for walking, cycling and bird watching but there is also lots to do in the area and being set in 17 acres means we have loads of space for children to explore. For those who enjoy their food there are plenty of restaurants to try in and around our local villages.

Our two week holiday at Camellia Cottage completely flew by. La Logerie were perfect for what we were looking for. Our children are 9 and 7 years and there were great zip wiring / kayaking facilities nearby, plus lovely quiet undulating roads for cycling. We went on a few longer trips away, but didn't feel the need to do too many day trips as the children were also really happy playing badminton in the field or play by the pool.
The pool area is set up really well (and is alarmed for peace of mind), and I really liked the fact that there was an adjacent shaded area with table tennis / darts / table football which meant that they didn't have to be out in the sun the whole time we were at the pool.
The grounds are really well kept and the lay out of the cottages done well so that nobody was overlooked.Thank you Brian and Gill.
