Both Gill and I were born in the north west of England and have lived at La Logerie for the last 10 years after seeing and falling in love with it. We are both animal lovers and have horses, pet sheep and chickens living here with us. We love the countryside and enjoy sharing our beautiful part of rural France with our guests.

|Why this location?||We just fell in love with the property and the area.|
|Unique benefits of property||Peace and tranquillity, beautiful scenery and nature at it's best. This is a really lovely area for walking, cycling and bird watching but there is also lots to do in the area and being set in 17 acres means we have loads of space for children to explore. For those who enjoy their food there are plenty of restaurants to try in and around our local villages.|

The advert discription was very accurate and the accommodation was clean and well maintained. The gites are very old stone farm buildings which have been tastefully converted into comfortable and practical accommodation whilst retaining elements of authenticity. The site is set in beautiful countryside and during our quiet evening walks we came across deer, otters and not forgetting the neighbours donkey who was always grateful for a carrot and a pat on the head. Excellent customer service, I was very grateful for the advice about the local area and where things were as well as some excellent recommendations on places to visit. I would recommend La Logerie to anyone. The owner even drove out to meet me when my satnav
crashed. I thoroughly enjoyed my 7 days and was grateful for the commitment shown by the management to ensure my holiday was a memorable and pleasant experience. I should also mention the lovely pool with uninterrupted views of the countryside
Thanks so much for the lovely review. We are so pleased you enjoyed your holiday here and look forward to welcoming you back in the future.
We have just returned from a very relaxing holiday stay at La Logerie. The property was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. There is a lovely view of fields as you sit in the private patio area having a glass of wine or eating breakfast.
The swimming pool, hot tub (for use in the evenings) and ping pong/football game etc are excellent for a family as well as a play area for children so this accommodation would suit all different parties.
Brian and Gill were the perfect hosts - very friendly and on hand for information and very unobtrusive. A welcome pack on arrival and the warm croissants delivered to our cottage each morning by Gill are highly recommended!
As a couple we were looking for a quiet week away to relax and chill and staying in Lavender Cottage was the perfect place to be. There are local walks which you can do (very good signs!) and thank you to Brian for lending us the maps for these. However there are also plenty of activities and places to visit that families can do if visiting the area. There is a room with all the local tourist leaflets and reading materials for guests to use.
We would definitely recommend La Logerie to family or friends and hope to return again.
Thanks so much for the lovely review. We are so pleased you enjoyed your holiday with us and really hope to welcome you back some time in the not so distant future.
