A nice gite with style and grace. Our holiday was in the very hot weather 2018 and the gite was very comfortable and cool. The property is on the outskirts of a village and small town with road access to the town. Peaceful neat gardens leading to the river - we swam in and took the boat out. If you are just wanting to chill watch the river water go by and read a book in the garden then this is the one. Thanks to great hosts
Our Gitte was like a home from home, It was clean and the kitchen was well equipped and contained everything you need for a self catering holiday. There is a pub in walking distance if you prefer to eat out.
Dawn and John are on hand if you need them and nothing is too much trouble.
The surrounding area is beautiful with lots of picturesque villages to visit with chateaus and museums. This is the perfect place to visit if you prefer quiet holidays with lots to see.
If I was to make a suggestion, it would be the perfect setting for a small pool, somewhere to have a dip when the weather gets too hot.
It was a shame the river dropped while we were there so we were unable to do the fishing which we had planned, but it was one of those things that cannot be helped.
We would definitely come again to catch those elusive carps.
