|Why this location?||We love the wide open spaces, historic medieval cities, chateaux and gardens of this area, which are all within an easy drive from Le Petite Coindries. We also enjoy the peace and quiet and wildlife the area has to offer, not to mention the many restaurants and vineyards.|

Have just returned from a lovely 4 night break at Les Coindries. Claire and Robert were very welcoming hosts and extremely helpful and accommodating.
The gite was perfect for us and each of the 4 gites has it's own private area so you don't feel as though you are on top of each other. Although we are quite tall for some of the doorways!
We cycled the 20km along the track to Chinon ending with a picnic. Probably not the most exciting journey but enjoyed a wine or two in Chinon at the end. Also spent an afternoon at the Fortresse in Chinon which was interesting and followed by an Italian meal at a very buzzy restaurant in the square. Having only 3 whole days we didn't do a lot but there is still a lot to see when we return - and we will! The gites are perfect for a larger group giving each their own space and the use of the pool area which was very clean and well equipped.
Highly recommend this property
Thank you for your review, we are pleased you enjoyed your stay, albeit a short one. Look forward to welcoming you back in the future to explore the area.

We stayed at Le Petite Coindries for one week from 9th June. The location is superb, rural and quiet yet only a 20min drive through local villages to larger towns with fabulous shops, cafes & restaurants giving holiday makers the best of both worlds. Our cottage was very comfortable, spacious & clean & every detail had been thought about by Claire our host. The courtyard was suitably rustic with various eating areas to choose from, weather permitting. The large outdoor pool and seating area was really lovely, a real sun trap with loungers, sun umbrellas and towels all provided. Claire and Robert were wonderful hosts, friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Claire is very knowledgable about this area of France and the advice and guidance she gave us was invaluable enabling us to get the best out of our short stay. Le Petite Coindries would suit all holiday makers, couples, families and solo travellers. The area is welcoming, safe and quiet with practically no traffic which makes walking in the sunshine enjoying the views particularly pleasant. This is a wonderful area and Claire and Robert are superb hosts, we will certainty be returning to Le Petite Coindries.
Thank you both for your comments. We are very glad you enjoyed your holiday and agree this is a lovely area where there is plenty to do and see. We hope to see you again sometime in the future.
