About the Owner/Advertiser, Mr Philip Turner

Originally from just outside Sheffield, Phil has worked most of his life in the construction industry, originally as a Carpenter/Joiner but before moving to France in construction management. Fran was born in Northern Ireland but as a teenager left to live in Australia returning to the UK to make her home in England, moving to Lincolnshire, where she met Phil after being introduced by a mutual friend and business colleague of Phil's, they moved to France in 2004

Why this location? When we bought the field it was the first place we visited, in April 2003 in the middle was a white horse (who we later learnt was named Duncan ) we visited numerous other building sites and renovation projects but we had a good feel about the plot and were drawn back and bought in the Autumn of that year, the rest as they say is history.
Unique benefits of property Although we say we bought the house in 2003, actually we bought a field, We built the house over a three year period on a rolling design basis, the internal layout changed as the construction developed. So the house today is a design that embraces our style of living, that is out door cooking and catering from May to October. The recently added pool finished off what we feel is the perfect home.
