The owners were outstanding. We had a welcome pack on arrival, nothing was too much trouble for them, they were happy to tell us about the local area and amenities but made sure that we retained our privacy.
The village is in a rural area - you do need a car to get here and travel around. There are plenty of good walks, some starting in the village.
The accommodation was just as described in the advert. The only issue was tv reception - it is via the internet and is this is a rural area, service can be sporadic. However, this didn't spoil our holiday as we hadn't come to watch tv!
