Electrical Engineer who fell in love with the South of France 18 years ago after spending a Christmas at my sister's home near Argeles sur Mer. Now a confirmed Francophile I try and get there as often as I can and for as long as I can between contract assignments. The eventual plan is to retire there and I have been very fortunate to not only discover a beautiful place to live but also a dream home, that I am very proud of. Most definitely living the dream each and every day I am there.
|Year property purchased||2003|
|Why this location?||Visited Limoux in 2002 on my property search and immediately fell in love with the place. It is the best decision I have ever made and I have never regretted the decision to buy my home there. Now into my 15th season of renting out my property I have attracted visitors from all over Europe, America and Australia some revisit every year. Limoux is ideally situated for anyone who wishes to discover the South Western part of France and Catalonia, with good road, rail and air links. 20 minutes from Carcassonne, Limoux has everything from numerous restaurants, year round entertainment and sun to outdoor activities such as cycling, walking, fishing or just watching the world go by whilst sampling the local wines.|
