The apartment is the first floor of our holiday home.
It has a total private entrance from our side of the house, with a large garden to relax the hours away, in a quite peaceful surroundings.
There is a local bakers van delivering each day at the bottom of the road, local shops bars and restaurants are a 5 minute ride away.
Spacious kitchen with table and chairs and a breakfast bar.
The kitchen has a washing machine, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee-machine, and all the cutlery, glasses, pots and pans for a modern kitchen.
The large living room has a table and chairs, large settee, television with English programs and dvd player, a selection of cds, a large selection of books and maps of the local area.
Bedroom 1 has a double bed with all bedding supplied, wardrobe and drawers.
Bedroom 2 is a large bedroom with 3 single beds and a hanging rail for your clothes and all bedding supplied.
Tiled shower room with walk in shower, washbasin and toilet, all towels are supplied
Electric radiators in each room if needed
Outside we have a badminton net, football goal nets and swing ball.
Inside we have Sky tv, puzzles and other small games.
New for the season of 2019 ,we have installed a above ground pool ,which is available at certain times of the year .
In the garden there is a charcoal barbecue, table and chairs and reclining chairs.
There is off road parking for 2 cars next to the house
As we have steps up to the apartment it is not ideal for people with mobility problems
Our holiday home is a traditional stone built house sitting in the middle of four terraces which form the private gardens, set to a mountain backdrop clad with pine and sweet chestnut trees.<br/>The 2 bedroomed holiday gite is the first floor of our home, and is accessed by a staircase to its own private entrance.<br/>Over the last 15 years as all homes we have modernised the apartment and made it comfortable but keeping it traditional.

|Why this location?||The Cevennes, this beautiful unspoilt area of the South of France as so much going for it, its ideal location for mountains, fast running streams, rivers and lakes for cooling off in the hot summer months and stunning views. Local markets with local Cevenol people selling their hand made goats cheeses, honey and sweet chestnuts and mushrooms when they are in season, our closest large market is held every Wednesday and Saturday and is just a 5 minute drive away, other large markets are in Ales and Uzes.
The sandy beaches of the Camargue are just over a one hours drive away and the seaside towns of La Grau du Roi ,La Grand Motte and Stainte Maries la Mer .
Local towns , of interest close to us are Avignon ,Arles ,Nimes and Montpellier .
Places of interest to visit are the ,Bambouseraie and steam train at Andouze ,local caves including the Cheuvet Cave which is so important they have built a replica cave ,we have visited this and it was amazing

Nimes and Arles have large amphitheatre`s and well worth visiting .
The Pope`s palace in Avignon, it was the seat of the Catholic popes from 1309 to 1377.
Pont du Gard an ancient Roman aqueduct which carried water to Nimes
Anduze the Bambouseraie one of Europe`s biggest collection of bamboo gardens,
also in Anduze take the steam train through the Cevennes to St.Jean Du Gard.
Vallon Pont -d `Arc the latest prehistoric Chauvet caves .
Explore the Cevennes ,via car and vist small Hamlets and villages lost in time.
Mount Aigoual, the highest point in the Cevennes, visit the last weather station in France inhabited by the French meteorologists.
Ales,the capital of the Cevennes our nearest town with lots of good restaurants and shops and during the summer months creates a beach next to the Gardon River.
Also in Ales in June there is the fete du music, with different bands and groups perform around the town in the evening.
In Ales also the fete national, the town has a massive carnival and finishes with a huge firework display .
Visit the Camargue coastline and the seaside towns close by ,with long sandy beaches ie.Esipiguette , Grau du Roi ,
Sainte Marie d'la Mere ,La Grande Motte and Aigues Morte .
Also the Camargue is famous for its black bulls and the pink Flamingos and other bird life ,horse riding is available at Grau du Roi for all ages .
