Three bedrooms, one double with full en suite, one twin bedroom and one single with further separate wc and shower, both with shuttered windows onto the meadows.

The fully equipped separate kitchen opens on to the dining area and enormous lounge with its sets of frenchdoors on to the private garden area. The cottage has its own private shady garden which merges into the meadows, with hammock and bbq, probably the most welcome extension to any accommodation giving you the opportunity to dine under the trees and relax outside throughout the day and evening. It's a great spot for star and meteorite gazing.

Safe parking next to the cottage. Wi-fi may reach in to the cottage, depending on equipment, but is available under the veranda.

You'll arrive to clean accommodation, the beds made up, cold drinks in the fridge and a complimentary bottle of wine to enjoy in your own shady garden. We are on site to welcome you in and show you around. So close to all amenities, motorway and airport, yet away from noisy roads, so close to a host of famous places Avignon, Nimes, Montpellier etc, yet so tempting to just relax in the hammock in your own garden or splash in the sparkling 6x12 metre pool.

Mas du Moulin d'Astruc and its separate cottages are surrounded by 12 acres of vineyard and meadows and set within a conservation area of outstanding natural beauty. It lies near the medieval village of Sauve, overlooks the River Vidourle and is at the foot of the Cevenne Hills and National Park. You're only a 5 minutes walk from an excellent restaurant. Supermarkets and all other facilities are less than a 5 minute drive away. There are beautiful local markets and it's situated ideally for touring famous cities, villages and natural sites, river swimming, visiting the beach or walking to nearby Sauve.

You'll be in the heart of beautiful countryside but not isolated. Safe car parking. Wi-fi available free.



Kitchen and dining

Spacious separate kitchen opening both to the garden and to the inside dining area. Fully fitted with dishwasher, fridge/freezer. microwave, toaster. coffee maker, full cooker and oven, crockery and cutlery etc. and of course a sink.
Large dining table with chairs within the dining area which opens onto a fully furnished outside dining area with BBQ within your own garden. The garden merges with one of the meadows - endless space.

Living rooms

An enormous lounge and dining area offer wonderful views to the meadows and hills beyond. There is direct access to the garden via two sets of French windows . The lounge is furnished with a leather three piece suite, coffee table, book shelves, and writing table/desk .


There are three bedrooms.
The furnished double room has duel aspect shuttered windows looking out to the trees and meadows. It has its own ensuite with twin sinks, WC and shower.
In the West wing is the twin bedroom and the single bedroom which share a separate WC and a shower room, and have shuttered windows looking out onto trees and meadow land .
All bed linen provided.


As well as the en suite there is a further shower room and separate wc




The large swimming pool is always available together with a pin pong table, fun tennis and boules plus all the meadows, with donkeys, goats and chickens - don't worry there's no noisy cockerel.

Garden and outside

Your own private shady garden with bbq and hammock under the veranda and table and chairs beneath the Mulberry trees. There is a beautiful view across the meadows and so much Nature to admire.

The region is stunning in its beauty, there's a super pool waiting, great local walks, plenty of attractions from caves and train rides to bamboo forests and Roman temples, beautiful markets, great wine and even river swimming. It's a great place to relax and watch the stars at night. Surrounded by a beautiful natural environment in a conservation area but close to art galleries, supermarkets, restaurants and a wonderful wine growing area.It's close to this side of paradise! and offers you your own garden area as well as acres of meadow land to enjoy. Walk the medieval lane to Sauve for breakfast bread or in the evening to one of the nearby restaurants.

Beautiful local markets, the wonderful town of Nimes with Roman temples - the best preserved outside of Rome itself, Roman arena still in use, steam train ride through a beautiful valley and bamboo jungle, a fabulous Mediterranean beach just 40 mins. beautiful river swimming and canoeing. Wonderful caves to visit. It's less than hour to the Camargue, Arles, the Pont du Gard ( fabulous huge Roman aqueduct) Montpellier and Uzes. Great walks and birdwatching from the property, excellent restaurants a walk away. Or you can just relax! If you need more we are on site to help.
