A Car is essential if staying at this property
Spacious and exceptionally well equipped, the house comfortably accommodates 12 in 5 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms, plus powder room and poolside shower. All bedrooms are delightfully decorated and all have fans. A cot and highchair can be provided.
The landscaped garden provides plenty of space for children to play and there’s ample parking for several cars.
The large, open plan living/dining/kitchen is bright and light, with a high, vaulted ceiling. The kitchen opens to a dining terrace with lawns leading to the 10 x 5 private pool, 1m-1.75 m in depth, entirely fenced to comply with French safety regulations. There’s plenty of room for sunbathing and a handy poolside cabana with shower and WC.
There’s free satellite wifi, a Satellite tv with free to air UK channels,dvd and cd player/radio, barbecue, table tennis table a pétanque area (boules court), hairdryer and safe.
A choice of walks can be taken directly from the house, particularly along the Roman Road in both directions, which offers lovely unspoilt walking amongst wild flowers; it’s also great for bird spotting.

The dining area is light and bright with high ceilings; a counter worktop separates the kitchen from the dining area.
The kitchen is extremely well equipped, including a large fridge, dishwasher, microwave, gas hob, oven, kettle, toaster, hot drinks machine.
From the kitchen a door opens to a large covered terrace of 50 sqm with pitched roof and big beams and a teak dining setting - ideal for al fresco dining on hot days.
The bright and airy open plan living and dining areas have a high, vaulted ceiling with amazing huge beams. Windows all round give vistas over the green countryside.
Three comfy 3-seater leather sofas form a spacious sitting area around a big fireplace with glass insert. Frenchdoors open to the front terrace.
One bedroom has a king size bed and a pitched, beamed ceiling. Two big windows look out over the view.
The huge master bedroom suite has a double bed, sitting area with tv and French doors opening to a lovely covered terrace and courtyard.

A landing area contains a single pull out bed.
The loft room has 2 single beds and a single pull out bed if required. NB: the ceiling height makes this room mainly suitable for children.

The area around the house is landscaped with lawn and gardens, with a private outlook on to fields and vineyards. There's plenty of room for children to play.
From the rear dining terrace a lawn with mature olive and pine trees meanders down to the pool. Barbeque.
The private swimming pool 10 x 5, 1. 75m and 1m at the shallow end, is for exclusive use of guests. It is fully fenced and has a wide, paved surround with sunloungers and views out to the open countryside. The pool is entered by steps and has an alarm to be used for security, there’s also a cabana with shower and wc.
There is ample parking for several cars on the property.

It is only a10 minute drive to the lovely little port of Mèze, which has a sandy beach and plenty of seafood restaurants, and a 20 minute drive to the area’s biggest beach, Marseillan plage, which boasts fine, white sand and plenty of parking.
A 10 minute drive takes you to the seaside town of Meze, also the interesting village of Montagnac with its many 14th through to 17th century buildings. Both have shops, all services, restaurants and a wonderful weekly street market.
Pezenas, just 5km away, is very well known for its many antique/brocante shops. There is a big antique fair once a year. You'll also find many artisan shops selling all kinds of unique household items, decor, clothes etc.
During the summer the night markets are very popular. The all day Saturday street market is one of the biggest in the area.
Stroll through the medieval and 18th century streets, enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants.
Montpellier, with an international airport and main train station, is a 30 minute drive. You'll find beautiful old buildings, shops, restaurants, opera.
Just one hour's drive will take you to fascinating Carcasonne and the amazing Cathar Castles. Highly recommended.
The flat, shady borders of the Canal du Midi are perfect for bike riding. You'll find plenty of spots for a picnic, especially near one of the many locks which provide entertainment as the boats navigate their way through!
